Holly is the third woman in history to have been married. She was married to Danny Quinn, an actor. The couple got became married in the year 1991. They divorced two years later in 1993. In 1994, she dated Jim Carrey during auditions for Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. The role was never given to her, however they became friends during shooting Dumb and Dumber. They married in 1996. The marriage lasted less than an year and then they separated in 2001, she got married Francis Greco, a Canadian-born investment banker.The couple adopted three children, sons Henry, George, and Alexander Holly-Greco. In 2008, while married to Greco she became an Canadian citizen. The couple divorced in 2014. separated. Holly and her children live within Oakville Ontario Canada. Holly, Grant and their respective families created the A Fund in 1992 at Hobart & William Smith Colleges to honor her brother Alexander. Holly described him as a "boy who was full of goals, dreams and plans". Though he only had 14 when he passed away, he had traveled extensively in Europe and Central America, lived in New York City and Los Angeles And these adventures led him to develop a love with archaeology and architecture.

Alaina Suddeth is the daughter of Kristy Suddeth (Rossville, Georgia) and J. J. Suddeth. Alaina began singing when she was just three years old. The first performances she performed in public came by a children's choir as well as the annual holiday spot which provided karaoke. She sang anywhere in a 30-mile radius, including at churches, restaurants and family occasions. Alaina, at the age eight, took home the Southern Stars Pageant Talent Competition. She was then selected to sing on the Kids Stage of Chattanooga's Riverbend Festival. She performed there until she turned 12 old. She then won an award that gave her to be a part in the mainstage at the Riverbend Festival. When she was 10 years old, she went to Orlando to compete at the American Model and Talent Competition. She managed to defeat over 1500 contestants at the competition. Alaina sang as part of Georgia Country Gospel Association's children's group. Alaina was twelve when she first made and many subsequent trips to Nashville. She was a regular at Tootsie's bar, and numerous other bars on Broadway. Alaina is born on the 29th of September 1989, was the winner of the WinniSTAR talent competition for young people at Lake Winnepesaukah. Alaina was inspired to perform by observing Holly Witherow. Holly was suffering with a brain tumour. Alaina was a Pizza Hut employee prior to joining Idol. She was a graduate of Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe School, Fort Oglethorpe Georgia.
