Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on January 31, 1974. She is best known as Bo in the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was made in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Silk is the daughter Peter an academic, as well as Ilkay Silk who is a renowned actress director producer playwright educator as well as Director of Drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers some of her earliest memories of going to rehearsals of plays. Silk was a prominent character in numerous commercials in her early years as an infant. Silk was a graduate of St. Thomas University with the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theater work in her early years included at least two plays with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto to pursue her acting skills in November 1999, and during the next decade, she moved to Los Angeles California. She met her husband, Seth Cooperman, at an actor's workshop located in Los Angeles in 2007. In 2009, the couple were wed in civil ceremonies in the month of December. They renewed their vows April 10th, 2011 in Fredericton, after the woman changed her religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Levi Aaron was her second baby born on May 13th, 2016. Silk is a variety of television roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Silk was nominated for a Gemini Award in 2009 to play this character. As of 2009, Silk was hired as the main character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while filming of the third season finale episode and broke the news to viewers of the show in the Showcase special pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on the 20th of June that she is ready to resume working. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the fourth season's production. CNN recognized Bo's character with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular couples on TV ever. E! Magazine also classified it as the top TV couple of 2013. Entertainment Television. Due to Silk's popularity Silk has garnered a prominent presence on social media.
