Adults are human or other animal that has attained full growth.The biological meaning of the term is the animal has reached sexual maturity, which makes it capable of reproduction. In the human context adults have meanings associated with social and legal concepts. An adult who is legally mature, in contrast to "minors" or "non-adults are those who are older than the average age and therefore considered independent, responsible and autonomous. The word "major" is a term used to define the person. It is generally accepted that the age at which a person legally matures is 18. It is possible for this to vary depending on legal rights and countries as well as psychological development.
